“EPIK Social-Good Festival” is organized and hosted annually as part of Father’s Day celebration activities. In commemoration, honor, memorial and celebration of generally, Fatherhood.
And especially, the life of the late Madam Elizabeth Pinsan and the late Mr. Isaiah Kakraba (EPIK), parents of the event originator, conceptualizer, developer and author, Founder/CEO of Kra Travel.
Mr. Isaiah Kakraba in particular, sadly died on Father’s Day, June 20, 2021.
This very unfortunate occurrence provided the motivation and impetus for the conceptualization, development and introduction of this strategic, innovative and practical person-centered, social-impact and purpose-driven event, “EPIK Social-Good Festival”.
True to its name, “EPIK Social-Good Festival” is the penultimate national, international and global annual convergence point and must-attend festival.
For non-profit, charitable, philanthropic, humanitarian, diplomatic and development. Tourism, travel, tours, hospitality, recreation and leisure. Government, civic, public, social, private, local and community interest organizations, missions, institutions, departments and agencies. Enterprises, businesses, companies, establishments, entities, professionals, practitioners, groups and individuals.
To network, build relationships, share ideas, identify and discuss new opportunities, development, trends, best practices and challenges.
Showcase, amplify and promote the much needed, but often neglected services, assistance and relief. Care, attention, wellbeing, solidarity, goodwill, benevolence, generosity, love, kindness and compassion. Which they provide in creating support ecosystems for addressing critical endemic, systemic and emerging challenges. Confronting the underserved, needy, poor, vulnerable and underprivileged. People, communities, society, humanity and generations yet unborn.
Additionally, provides the much needed and rightly so, but much often easily neglect solidarity, goodwill, benevolence and generosity. Love, kindness, compassion, physical, social and emotional relief, well-being, care and attention. To support, motivate, entertain, rejuvenate, empower and impact Persons Living with Disability and Special Needs.
One of the most vulnerable, underserved, deprived and marginalized groups in Ghana. And predominantly, confined to the periphery of tourism, travel, tour, hospitality and events. Recreation, leisure, sportive, healthy, active living and styles, social, community and family structures.
The event therefore significantly, but not surprisingly, provides the leverage to bring into community, local, national, international and global focus. The myriad of critical challenges Persons Living with Disability and Special Needs in Ghana face. Particularly, relative to tourism, travel, tour, hospitality and events. Recreation, leisure, sportive, healthy, active living and lifestyles participation and access.
Further, “EPIK Social-Good Festival” is the premier major or headline Father’s Day celebration person-centered, social-impact and purpose-driven tourism, travel, tour, vacation, hospitality, recreation and leisure off-the-beaten-paths experience, activity, attraction, courtesy and service in Ghana.
