Elevating Anti-Corruption and Fraud Narratives, Capacity Building, Advocacy and Sensitization Paradigms
"Spearheading, Supporting and Strengthening Transparency, Accountability, Rule of Law and Good Governance Advocacy Paradigms Shift for a Pro-poor, Vulnerable, Deprived, Minorities, Underprivileged and Marginalized Sustainable Development, Peace, Security and Safety through Non-Formal Education"
Training, building the capabilities, self-confidence and elevating sensitization at the grassroots: Absolutely a key strategy for guarding against corruption and fraud, transparency, accountability, good governance and rule of law violations
Corruption and fraud always hit so hard at the most vulnerable groups or individuals: expectant mothers haplessly waiting in very deplorable conditions at hospitals due to governments’ inability to provide adequate medical staff, amenities and/or facilities
Corruption and Fraud Fueling Violent Wars, Conflicts and Crimes: Children forced into armed conflicts, wars, drugs and substance abuse and other self-destructive social vices
Project Objectives
The substantive and supreme objectives of the Initiative for Integrity, Moral and Ethical Conduct (IIMEC) project includes but not limited to the following highlights:
- To vigorously pursue leads for investigators, and ensure the prosecution of all reported or perceived acts and cases of corruption and fraud, suspected or proven with special attention to those perpetrated against the state of Ghana and/or involving government officials, agencies and departments. Krinsol Ecotours will vigorously advance the systematic development, continuous engagement and empowerment of the bottom of the societal pyramid, grassroots, ordinary citizens, public and private sector leadership, officials and personnel to guard against corruption, bribery and fraud, transparency, good governance and rule of law infractions
- To embark on a relentless nationwide highly integrated grassroots anti-corruption and fraud, transparency, good governance and rule of law special interest/focused, human-centered capacity building, training, public education and sensitization campaign to conscientize the citizenry and corporate entities to win the hearts and minds of especially the youth, grassroots or ordinary people, which Krinsol Ecotours believes matter most if the fight against corruption and fraud is to be won, whilst achieving enhanced good governance, transparency and rule of law. We want to instill in the people, particularly the youth, the virtues and self-discipline of taking a pause to ask ‘is this ethical and/or does this connote integrity?’ before taken a decision and/or acting at all times and under any circumstances
- To lobby and advocate for policies formulation paradigm shift towards government, authorities and decision makers assuming greater political capacity and mastery to addressing the critical issues of transparency, good governance, rule of law, corruption and fraud, socio-cultural, humanitarian, economic and political concerns facing the youth, poor, vulnerable, marginalized, minorities and ordinary people. The ultimate aim is to establish a passionate, dynamic and proactive think tank with impeccable integrity to become a center for scrutinizing especially government contracts, agreements and allocation of resources
- To facilitate symbiotic relations, inter-connectivity, networking and exchange of information, expertise, knowledge, skills and technology between diverse state actors, officials, agencies and departments on one hand and civil society organizations, institutions, groups and individuals whose actions, work and activities directly or indirectly have an impact and can contribute to the fight against corruption and fraud, rule of law, transparency and good governance violations. Believing that, this will allow for achieving that critical but taken for granted pulling of resources together, cohesion and unity of purpose on the other hand
- To contribute to literature and knowledge through chronicling all project experiences, comments and revelations that need to be known (project history) and developing them into a blue print document or manual on rule of law, good governance and transparency, anti-corruption and fraud, as a contribution to elevating Ghana’s socio-cultural, humanitarian, economic and democratic development. This can be adopted by other public or private sector organizations and relevant stakeholders for reference or guidelines, and particularly for grassroots public education, sensitization, advocacy and awareness creation
