BIO/PROFILE

Denis Selorm Gede, was hired to join our indigenous Ghanaian private sector person-centered, social-good and purpose-driven tourism, travel, hospitality, recreation and leisure Social Enterprise (SE), Kra Travel (Kra Integrated Solutions) at the organization’s very formative years.

And has been a highly formidable force to reckon with, actively engaged in Kra Travel's (Kra Integrated Solutions’) development, management, evolution and sustainability trajectory.

He is a product of Accra Polytechnic (now Accra Technical University) where he pursued and obtained a Diploma in Financial Accounting. Mr. Gede is very much excited and fascinated with technology and its new trends as well as the tremendous opportunities it presents.

If you are to ask Mr. Gede about robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), he is all for it and very much enthused about delving deep into this emerging exciting field of technology, computerization and informatics.

His intense passions and love for technology drove him into graphic designing and computer hardware development. All important IT fields which are of critical essence to Kra Travel‘s (Kra Integrated Solutions’) general strategic vision, mission, goals, objectives, aims and targets, development and operations, market visibility, positioning, branding and image building drive.

Mr. Gede is very passionate and loves tourism, travel, vacation, recreation, leisure, sports, active and healthy living, lifestyles and livelihoods. In spite of his condition as person with special needs, disability, reduced mobility and physical or mobility challenge. As someone coming from such a difficult background, he has cultivated, developed and nurtured an uncompromising attitude that has crystallized into him also becoming a formidable solutions oriented and hands-on person.

On the basis of this, he has acquired and applied excellent skills, knowledge, experience and he is extremely passionate and has strong fixations in improvising, redesigning and retrofitting equipment and devices to meet the peculiar needs, wants, demands and use of especially persons with special needs, disabilities, reduced mobility or physically challenged.

Mr. Gede is of strong convictions that, regular, constant and consistent engagement in vacation, excursions, leisure, travel and tourism activities and experiences is the best way to revitalize, relief stress, rejuvenate and energize in the face of currently everyday pressures of business, work, study, living and lifestyles engagements and activities.

He is therefore very much excited to be part of talents/team Kra Travel (Kra Integrated Solutions) with the functional responsibilities as the General Manager (Administration, Finance, Costing, Budgeting and Accounting, Social, Cultural, Economic, Humanitarian and Environmental Responsibility, Purpose, Impact and Values Creation Lead).
